Since children grow up over time, the only graphics we found at the time were 16-bit. Yes, we are talking about the days before there were consoles like the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. And you know what? It was a Golden time. It seems to us that today console manufacturers are only concerned with graphics and the number of people who can be maimed in MW3, and the ability to enjoy simple games is far in the past. Back to the ’80s and’ 90s! Retro consoles were what brought a bit of arcade to our lives, and games like Streets of Rage, Sonic, and Mario could be played for hours. This was a time when computer games were completely new fun – especially for boys. In addition, some of the early retro consoles did not allow you to make saves during the game, so you not only tried to complete the entire game at a time, but also found yourself after death at the very beginning of the level. And so every time you restarted the game, you knew that you would now be playing for much longer than 10 minutes. For complete nostalgia, check out our reviews of the best Retro Video Games.
